David Hendry Cars established in 1980, on its' previous site in Park Road Malmesbury. Firstly appointed Jeep Dealers until their withdrawal from the UK, David Hendry is now one of the oldest Subaru Official dealers since its appointment in 1983. It also became an official Isuzu Dealer in 1987. In 1990 they were selected as Official TVR Dealers for Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Bristol in 1990.

In 1996 David Hendry Cars parted company with the Official Subaru/Isuzu importer IM Group and set up as an independent importer of New Subaru and Isuzu, with product links in Europe and Japan. Today they offer a wide range of Subaru and Isuzu products, some of which are not usually available in the UK. These vehicles are all backed by a three year unlimited mileage warranty, and are very competitively priced and are supported by their19 years of experience with the product. This is matched with their enthusiasm for TVR Great British Sports Cars, which is complimented with 12 years Sales and Service experience.

In 2003 David Hendry Cars became official dealers for Ssangyong in the UK offering good valve 4x4 to replace the outgoing Isuzu Trooper. Late 2007 saw big changes with the company moving to a new site at White Lodge in Malmesbury only 1 mile away from the previous site. The new site is in a much more prominent position & benefits include having easier access, more space & importantly being owned by the partners rather than rented premises.

2008 promises to be very exciting for David Hendry Cars as they settle in to the new site & also become official Ford retail & service dealers.
